Benny’s Deli is a family run Bakery, Restaurant and Delicatessen situated in the West of Ireland market town of Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. We started out baking fresh apple tarts and brown soda bread from our small bakery on Castlerea’s main street in 1981. We have been getting up early every morning to bake them ever since, but now from a bigger premises on Lower main street.

At Bennys we pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients, making simple delicious food and always providing a helpful friendly service.

We would like to wish all our customers a very happy new year and to thank you for your custom in 2011. We look forward to seeing you in for tea and cake in 2012!

Our restaurant and coffee shop serves hot breakfasts, lunches, soups, salads and sandwiches throughout the day produced from the finest local ingredients. We also serve teas, coffees and delicious desserts.

Benny’s deli produce a selection of fine quality salads and deli meats including our famous roast chickens and award winning clove baked ham. We also stock delicious locally sourced farm produce.

Our home bakery produces delicious fresh soda and french breads and scones every morning. We also make a wonderful selection of cakes and desserts. Call us to order special occasion cakes.

Gluten Free

Bennys Deli are proud to announce our new delicious range of Gluten free bread and deserts.

We have noticed requests for wheat free products increase over the last few years and are now happy to be able to cater to this demand. All of these new products are suitable for celiac customers or anyone on a wheat free diet. These products can also be frozen if customers from further afield need to stock up.

We are happy to say that there is no compromising on taste with a range including Brown and White breads, fruit cakes and for a treat our new gluten free apple tarts!
